One of the initial intentions was to experiment with stark contrasts between landscapes and macro photography. In theory the idea was effective and when edited in post-production to reflect this idea, the results in my opinion appear mediocre and in all honesty at this stage on a photography degree course, I know I can achieve and make work of a much higher standard and unfortunately this does not truly reflect my capabilites and potential.
However it is important that you trial ideas such as this otherwise you will only stay within your comfort zone, not knowing whether your imagined ideas will be successful or not. Trialling new ideas which I have done above, does not guarentee success, however it demonstrates bravery and the willingness to want to develop. It is through these experiences and trials that we begin to learn more about ourselves and develop as an artist, photographer and individual.
