Vistaprint Business Cards – Sample Pack.

I received the Vistaprint business cards sample pack today; it is great to view the different sorts of business cards that this company creates; especially to consider when creating my business cards as well as for future circumstances where I may want to update my design.

An example of the various business cards Vista Print offer, alongside different paper options they offer, such as the creation of flyers or brochures.

The Post-Production Process

This process, although simplistic was applied to all of the photographs which have been selected for exhibition and book presentation; the principle works extremely effectively at creating an escapism, a new location.

The intention was to complete as much of the work as possible, in camera. Therefore ensuring the settings, exposure, lighting, etc is a close to final as possible was intrinsic to remove the requirements of lengthy post-production in Adobe Photoshop.

The photograph process includes:

  • Initially opening the images in camera raw to adjust any settings in a non-destructive manner.
  • Remove Chromatic Aberration.
  • Enable Profile Corrections – to ensure any lens distortion is corrected.
  • Open the photographs into photoshop as Smart Objects; for quick linking to and editing of the saved camera raw settings.
  • Open the images in Photoshop.
  • Changing the blend mode to overlay.
  • Save the photograph file in the appropriate format.

Below are a few examples of this process.
